TASTING NOTES

A complex array of flavors produced by Colorado's high desert. Exhibiting a symphony of red fruits including sour cherry and raspberry, unveiling a gentle desert floor earthiness with a touch of spice. Medium-light bodied with a moderate alcohol level and subtle yet elegant tannins. 10% of the proceeds from each bottle will benefit Food Bank of the Rockies.

WINEGROWING

Grown with a focus on sustainability. These grapes are farmed on alluvial soils mixed with larger volcanic strata. A properly managed, umbrella like canopy allows for just the right air flow and dappled sunlight onto the clusters to achieve maximum quality. The soils of the vineyard site enhances the expression of character for each variety and lends to the uniqueness of the wine.

WINEMAKING

A true kitchen sink blend utilizing various single varietal lots to create a food friendly wine. A small amount of white wine was blended in to pop the aromatics and lighten the blend as you would see in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC.
