TASTING NOTES
Light & crunchy, exhibiting an elegant violet floral & cherry aroma. profound flavor notes of strawberry, raspberry, & Plum precede. Silty tannins. A light body is balanced with a hazelnut finish.
WINEGROWING
Grown with a focus on sustainability. These grapes are farmed on alluvial soils mixed with larger volcanic strata. A properly managed, umbrella like canopy allows for just the right air flow and dappled sunlight onto the clusters to achieve maximum quality. The soils of the vineyard site enhances the expression of character for each variety and lends to the uniqueness of the wine.
WINEMAKING
Whole cluster carbonic maceration resulted in a chill-able, low tannin red wine / dark rosé. Fermented & aged in stainless steel, a quick bottling followed before the year's end to capture the pure essence of the grape. Inspired by historic winemaking techniques from Piedmont. Italy’s version of Beaujolais Nouveau.
